Becomes one of Norway’s largest players within ISS

StS acquire all the shares in ISONOR Industrier and thus becomes a more complete supplier to customers in the energy industry. – We will be the player with the strongest roots in Norway, says managing director Ingrid Solheim.

StS has its head office in Bergen and is strongly present in several places in Western Norway and in England. ISONOR Industrier has offices in Stavanger, Kristiansand, Skien and Drammen. – As a result, no one can beat us in terms of local presence. Our competitors are international, and with this acquisition we will be competing for the very largest contracts, says Solheim.

StS and ISONOR Industrier know each other well from before after the joint venture cooperation in the ISO contract in 2020 with Vår Energi. The acquisition is thus a natural further development of the collaboration. Operations continue as before, but the aim is for the companies to be merged into one company. – This is how we want to secure jobs and get the opportunity to further develop our products and services in an industry that is changing rapidly, she says.

Strengthened competitiveness

After the merger, the company will change its name to StS-ISONOR. Through this consolidation, the company is strengthened in a long-term perspective. We are increasing our delivery capacity to the energy industry for turnkey contracts for new construction and within maintenance and modifications on the Norwegian continental shelf, in addition to being well established in land-based industry.

Local presence ensures effective project implementation

– We look forward to investing together – on the same team in an exciting and rapidly developing industry. With local roots and expertise, we must ensure efficient project implementation for our customers. Both StS and ISONOR are known for being safe and attractive employers with a very loyal and faithful workforce. Together with management and trade unions, we will now shape the workplaces of the future, says Ingrid Solheim, who will be managing director of the companies.
