Pål was hired as project manager and discipline leader Rig and lift in April. He comes from 17 years in Beerenberg, where he was responsible for rope access and head of department. Prior to this, he worked for 5 years in Linjebygg as Rope access supervisor.
Pål was hired to strengthen our expertise in the field of rigging and lifting, as well as to assist in further developing our Rope Access department. We are very happy to have Pål on our team and are already benefiting from his long industry experience and strong expertise!

Who are you?
48 years old, project manager rope access (RAT) and discipline leader for rig and lifting operations, trained welder and industrial mechanic, started with rope access in 2000, Rope access supervisor, course leader, project manager, department manager, design of lifting equipment and performing complex lifting operations
What do you work with?
Highly varied tasks such as quality assurance, planning and managing projects, preparing offers, certifications, course leader, Rope access supervisor in projects. What makes my job exciting is the variety of tasks. I find it very rewarding to follow up and see the development of security manager aspirants.
What project are you on now and how is it going?
We currently have a high demand in access technology. To meet the challenge of having enough qualified personnel, work is being done steadily to raise the level of competence. In addition to training, we have been lucky to get new skilled employees on the team.
What do you dream of?
I have my dream job where I look forward to going to work every day and meeting skilled and pleasant work colleagues, whether it is in the office, in the course center or out on projects. Constantly learning in a very strong and committed professional environment that we have in StS-ISONOR.
