Scope of work
Reconstruction of pipelines required new insulation in some areas. Due to the location in a food production area, the insulation must be sealed and dust-free.
Solution
This has been solved with stainless steel cladding in exposed areas and PET-aluminum foil in areas that are not exposed to mechanical damage.
Insulation on hot pipes saves energy by preventing heat loss to the surroundings. In this case, savings will correspond to up to 90% of energy loss to surroundings. In addition, there is an HSE aspect by insulating hot surfaces where there may be skin contact.
